The Timbavati Game Reserve was formed in 1956 with the aim to reclaim the land for the benefit of all.  It encouraged every landover in the area to join in the conservation effort to safe what we have destroyed and today they have succeded in resorting the land to its former glory, with diverse and rare wildlife species making the Timbavati once again their home.

This magnificent game reserve comprises of over 53000 hectares of private land adjoining the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve.  In 1993 the fences separating the Timbavati, private game park from the famous Kruger National Park were dropped, thus forming a pristine wilderness area of approximately four million hectares and therefore encouraging natural species migration.  The reserve offers a selection of Luxury Safari Lodge and Tented Camps.
