PRIVILEGED LOCATION
Mozambique - with its very privileged geographical location and the charm and hospitality of its people - has much to offer the visitor. The country is bordered by six countries including Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Swaziland, with large distances to be covered from north to south especially if travelling by road - it is an understatement to say that the country is vast. It is a country diverse in its heritage, raw in its beauty and still undiscovered in many ways.
UNDISCOVERED BEAUTY
The main attraction has to be the countries splendid coastline, approximately 2580km - unsurpassed in the world. For the most part the coast and coastline have remained a pristine wilderness, untouched by anyone except the local fishermen who have bartered and plied their trade for hundreds of years. Mozambique has a tropical climate with year round sunny weather with an average temperature around 28degrees.
CULTURALLY COLOURFUL
Mozambique is one of the most culturally colourful countries in Africa derived from the marriage of African, Arab, Indian and European influences and nowhere is this more evident than in places like Ilha De Mozambique, a world heritage site and IBO Island where visitors have the opportunity to step back in time and immerse themselves in the culture and history of the past.
