Just saying…..
We had the best vacation ever in Thailand. We believe this was due to the excellent planning and arrangements made by Desire Africa Travel.

The accommodation they selected was spectacular and the flights were synchronized well to make our journey as smooth and comfortable as possible. We didn’t even feel the distance.

The Thai people were the most welcoming and accommodating and we felt
extremely safe. In Phi Phi we could unwind properly and genuinely relax. What made it more pleasurable is that there is quite a variety of dining places with a wide variety of price ranges. For the first time we rented a canoe for a day and paddled safely along the calm aqua blue waters
along the coast line of the island. We also enjoyed authentic Thai massages. On a particular night , we were entertained by a live
professional fire dancers. Moreover, we enjoyed drinking out of real coconuts on an island.

As Krabi was just a ferry ride away , we went there for a day to enjoy the local markets. To our surprise , we had fish foot massages , pizza on the go and I purchased pure pearl jewels.

Subsequently, we felt so sad to leave Phi Phi with the ferry to Phuket. However , once we arrived there the transfer was waiting for us promptly and drove us to Patong.

There we were welcomed to another awesome location and felt relaxed and well rested to enjoy everything Phuket had to offer.

So, there was hotel transfers to Phuket beach every hour to and fro.
Hence, it wasn’t necessary to even rent a car. At Phuket we discovered
a shopping mecca at Patong Beach. There we bought plenty of pure cotton attire and ate anything from authentic fresh Thai seafood to Mediterranean wraps. Once again, the local cuisine was super fresh economical and delicious.

Later on we became so confident that we walked to Patong beach as it was quite near. We also enjoyed couple massages for a good price every other day.

For our sight seeing where we were collected on the
doorstep of Sunset Beach Resort. During this day we enjoyed zip-lining, white water rafting in the jungle,visiting the monkey cave and riding an elephant in the jungle.

Next, the other sight seeing adventure included visiting the animal natural zoo where we could playfully pet a baby elephant , seeing the Big Buddha and another major temple. Thereafter were escorted to the cashew factory where we sampled a wide range of variety of cashews and other dried fruit. We just had to take some home.Thereafter we went to the bee farm.

At other times we could laze at the pool at Sunset Beach resort. Other days we went across the street and swam in the warm calm ocean and watched the gorgeous sunset while eating freshly made street banana pancakes.

So this was the first vacation where it wasn’t necessary to eat junk food, we got plenty of exercise and good rest. This is a wonderful and most definitely recommendable trip for a family or couples retreat.
